Job Description

The Search Engine Optimization Manager is responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of search engine marketing campaigns in Google (Adwords, Display Network, etc.) and Bing as well as in-depth & ongoing optimization, analysis, reporting, and recommendations. This role exists within a dynamic team comprised of fast-paced digital marketers and does work closely with existing team members currently focusing on many forms of digital marketing including Search Engine Marketing assignments. The ideal candidate has at least 4-5 years of experience and is very familiar with defining, configuring, installing, and testing multiple tracking/conversion/lead/attribution scenarios for reporting purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports to develop and recommend SEO strategies
  • Prepare detailed strategy reports
  • Effectively communicate with team members and leadership on project development, timelines, and results
  • Manage offsite and onsite optimization projects and reporting on performance
  • Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools)
  • Conduct keyword research, fix technical SEO issues, create quality backlink profiles, implement and administer search engine programs
  • Incorporate particular keywords naturally into tags, heading, meta descriptions, etc.
  • Optimize website content and provide guidance on future content generation
  • Other duties as assigned by the leadership team

 Experience and Education Required:

  • Degree preferred
  • At least 3 years’ experience

  • Passion for SEO and overall internet marketing
  • High level of skill & knowledge in SEO & SEM
