Are you a designer by training and trade that loves dreaming up big ideas and making it happen? We’re looking for a seasoned art director with a refined sensibility, and a robust design instinct, and all the meticulous attention to detail and the skills to realize it. That means you straddle the worlds of creative strategy, project management, and design and have executed nearly every conceivable touch point, from brand identities to POP coupons at retail, from OOH billboards to photo-shoots and video-shoots with people, product, and locations. You can dream up a headline, present your ideas to anybody, sketch out a storyboard, or retouch a photo, and have a track record of delivering touchpoints that are professional and polished. You have exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills leading design and creative teams, copywriters, photographers, and more while taking the initiative to get feedback from the executive, account team as well as external stakeholders. Responsibilities
•   
develop integrated campaigns and support materials from inception to execution
•    review, give feedback, mentor and guide design team toward deliverables that exceed the brief
•    be the point-of-contact; champion and sell the work, internally and externally
•    actively evolve the design and creative strategies that promote excellence
•    transform data-driven insights into an innovative approach that influences audience behavior
•    introduce and apply expert art direction to the visual elements of creative projects
•    ensure a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns
•    Inspiring and motivating the agency’s clients to be creatively progressive, through the application of fresh and inventive visual work
•    take ownership of the visual elements of creative work for new business pitches
•    execute logos, branding, marketing materials, advertising, digital communications, emails, social media, photography and video productions

Basic Qualifications
•    strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration and animation
•    exceptional communications and presentation skills
•    a broad and deep understanding of marketing design and layout
•    the ability to generate original ideas and visual concepts consistently
•    the confidence to explain and support your thinking, both internally and externally
•    a flexible approach and willingness to adapt team ideas to the needs of clients
•    a passion for art, advertising, design, culture, and trends
•    a keen eye for visual details and accuracy
•    the resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work with tight deadlines.
•    high-level computer and design skills within Adobe CS, Microsoft Office
•    a foundation of digital media and evolving online platforms

Requirements
•    BFA / BA / BS
•    10+ years of experience as a designer or art director in an industry or with an agency
•    The ability to communicate and stay on task, on time and on budget
•    Strong design portfolio that reflects a deep understanding of integrated communications
•    Advanced understanding of Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (Premiere, AfterEffects plus!)
•    Solid experience developing creative for video and photography production
